Imagined Landscape - Stone Path Navy | Canvas

Jen Hewett is a printmaker, surface designer, textile artist and teacher living in San Francisco with her dog Gus. A lifelong Californian, Jen combines her love of bold prints and saturated colors with the textures and light of California landscapes to create highly tactile, visually layered, printed textiles. Jen’s first book, Print, Pattern, Sew: Block Printing Basics + Simple Sewing Projects for an Inspired Wardrobe, will be published by Roost Books in May 2018.
For her first-ever fabric collection, Jen drew inspiration from her daily walks in and around Golden Gate Park, simplifying the surrounding flora and landscapes into quirky, geometric shapes. A printmaker by training, Jen began her design process for this collection by hand printing with the collection of blocks she’s carved over the years, playing with layout and color as she worked..

Perfect for Roman Blinds

When I saw this fabric I thought it would work for a long-planned pair of Roman blinds, but I wasn't sure so I left an inquiry at the Thread Count website and received a prompt and helpful message from Becky, who even sent a picture of the fabric next to a window. It turned out to be just right for the purpose. I love the colours and the pattern, which I find both cheerful and restful. It is a nice weight for blinds and the regular repeats made it easy to keep things even and matching.

Thankyou so much for sharing this Frances, this fabric really does make for lovely blinds !! :)
