Pellon 806 Stitch-N-Tear is a tear-away stabilizer backing for all types of decorative stitch work including embroidery, applique, cut-work and monogramming. it is fast and easy to use, prevents fabric from puckering and adds stability to the design area. Stitch-N-Tear tears well in all directions. For medium to heavyweight fabrics.

I purchased this product to help reinforce some unravelling buttonholes on a linen dress. It was very effective - easy to use, appropriately sturdy and actually sort of fun to tear away after I finished stitching. Would definitely recommend and purchase again as needed. A little goes a long way!
This is perfect for the machine embroidery projects I make using a linen or canvas fabric. Good quality that did not fray while being embroidered but easy to tear away after.
