I purchased this jersey as the bodice for matching Christmas dresses and was concerned it might not be heavy enough, as compared to a ponte for example. However i doubled it up to hide the seams and it worked great. The bonus to this jersey is it is so soft. I found it to be easier to sew than some jerseys as there was less moving and bunching up, especially when sewing such small items like the 3M dress or headbands.
