I am making my husband a shirt with this flannel. It's a beautiful fabric, soft but with body. I especially like that it's the same on both sides, so no worries about wrong side showing anywhere. It's heavy enough that it will make a lovely warm shirt for winter. At 6.4 oz/square yard it's considered a medium weight. I've done another shirt in the same weight flannel, and it gets a bit thick where you have multiple layers, so I do the under collar, cuffs, and button bands in a coordinating quilting cotton which helps minimize bulk.
