I was unable to get my usual brand of thread in any weight (delivery problems due to covid). Thread Count Fabrics suggested Aurafil thread in 40 weight. I love it I may never go back. It has a lovely sheen to it. My machine loves it. I odered it in 2 shades of grey and both are great for piecing.
